The Brown Deer Police Department has a speed trailer that has the ability to count traffic, detect speed and it maintains date and times of vehicle traffic so the police department can direct their enforcement actions consistent with vehicle traffic patterns. The speed trailer can also be used for traffic counts for other Village departments to determine if there is a need for street changes or possible sign changes.
